Guest Rules & Regulations
To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests, Aabuu Babuu Resort & Banquet has established the following Guest Rules & Regulations.
By entering the Resort premises or staying at the Resort, guests agree to comply with these rules.
1. Check-In & Guest Registration
- All guests must complete the required registration formalities at check-in.
- Guests must present a valid government-issued photo identification document when requested.
- The Resort may maintain guest registration records as required by applicable law.
- Only registered guests may occupy a room.
- Any additional guest staying in a room must be declared to the Resort and may be subject to additional charges and applicable occupancy limits.
2. Room Occupancy
- Guests must not exceed the maximum occupancy permitted for their room category.
- Additional beds, mattresses, or other sleeping arrangements require prior approval from the Resort.
- The Resort reserves the right to refuse additional occupants where doing so would exceed safety or occupancy limits.
3. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward Resort employees, other guests, vendors, and visitors.
The following conduct is prohibited:
- Abusive, threatening, or violent behaviour
- Fighting or harassment
- Excessive noise or disturbance
- Damage to Resort property
- Illegal activities
- Misuse of Resort facilities
- Behaviour that creates a safety risk
- Any conduct that unreasonably disturbs other guests
Management may take appropriate action, including asking a guest to leave the premises, where permitted by applicable law.
4. Noise & Quiet Hours
Guests must maintain reasonable noise levels at all times.
Particular care should be taken during designated quiet hours or late-night periods so that other guests are not disturbed.
Music, parties, gatherings, or other activities that create excessive noise may be restricted by Resort management.
5. Visitors
- Visitors may be permitted subject to Resort policies and applicable security procedures.
- Visitors may be required to register at the reception/security desk.
- Visitors may not use guest-only facilities unless authorized by the Resort.
- Guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors.
- Overnight visitors must be registered and may be subject to applicable charges and occupancy restrictions.
6. Smoking & Tobacco
Smoking, vaping, and use of tobacco products are permitted only in areas designated by the Resort and subject to applicable law.
Smoking is prohibited in areas where it is legally or operationally restricted.
Guests may be charged for additional cleaning or restoration where smoking causes damage, excessive odour, or contamination of a non-smoking room or area.
7. Alcohol & Intoxicating Substances
Consumption of alcoholic beverages is subject to applicable law and Resort policies.
Illegal drugs and prohibited substances are strictly forbidden on Resort premises.
The Resort reserves the right to take appropriate action where a guest’s conduct creates a safety risk or disturbance.
8. Food & Beverages
- Guests must follow Resort policies regarding outside food and beverages.
- Food should not be consumed in areas where consumption is prohibited.
- Guests are responsible for maintaining cleanliness when permitted to consume food in guest areas.
- Any damage, staining, or special cleaning resulting from food or beverages may be chargeable.
9. Swimming Pool
Use of the swimming pool is subject to separate Swimming Pool Rules & Regulations.
Guests must follow all pool safety, hygiene, supervision, dress, and operating-hour requirements.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
10. Resort Property
Guests must not remove, misuse, alter, or damage Resort property.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Furniture
- Towels
- Linen
- Electrical equipment
- Decorative items
- Room accessories
- Electronic devices
- Bathroom fixtures
- Pool equipment
- Banquet/event equipment
Guests may be charged for loss or damage caused during their stay, subject to applicable law.
11. Room Keys / Access Cards
Guests are responsible for keeping room keys or access cards secure.
Lost or damaged keys/access cards should be reported to the reception immediately.
Replacement charges may apply where applicable.
12. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
Valuable items should not be left unattended.
The Resort should be informed promptly about any lost or misplaced item so reasonable efforts can be made to locate and return it.
The Resort is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
13. Valuables
Guests are advised to keep cash, jewellery, electronics, important documents, and other valuables securely stored.
Where a safe or designated secure storage facility is provided, guests should follow the applicable instructions.
14. Safety & Emergencies
Guests must comply with all safety instructions provided by Resort staff.
In the event of an emergency, guests should:
- Follow staff instructions
- Use designated emergency exits
- Avoid using lifts/elevators where instructed not to do so
- Proceed to the designated assembly/safe area
- Inform Resort staff of any emergency or injury
Emergency exits, fire equipment, alarms, and other safety equipment must not be blocked, damaged, or misused.
15. Fire Safety
The following activities are strictly prohibited unless specifically authorized:
- Tampering with fire alarms
- Misuse of fire extinguishers
- Blocking emergency exits
- Using unauthorized electrical equipment that creates a safety risk
- Burning candles, incense, fireworks, or other materials in prohibited areas
Any guest found deliberately misusing safety equipment may be subject to appropriate action.
16. Children & Minors
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children under their care.
Children must not be left unattended in:
- Rooms
- Swimming pool areas
- Stairways
- Balconies
- Parking areas
- Recreational facilities
- Other potentially hazardous areas
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that children comply with Resort rules.
17. Pets
Pets are permitted only with prior approval from Resort management.
Where pets are permitted:
- Guests must comply with designated pet areas and restrictions.
- Pets must be appropriately controlled.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning after their pets.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
- Additional cleaning or damage charges may apply.
18. Parking & Vehicles
- Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas.
- Guests must follow security and parking instructions.
- Vehicles should be locked and secured.
- Guests should not leave valuable belongings inside vehicles.
- The Resort may restrict vehicle access to certain areas for safety or operational reasons.
The Resort is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or belongings left inside vehicles except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
19. Photography & Videography
Guests may take photographs and videos for personal use, provided that they do not:
- Disturb other guests
- Interfere with Resort operations
- Violate another person’s privacy
- Damage Resort property
- Enter restricted areas
Commercial photography, professional shoots, advertisements, pre-wedding shoots, or production activities require prior approval from management.
20. Drones
Use of drones or other aerial recording equipment on or around Resort premises requires prior written permission from Resort management and must comply with applicable laws and aviation regulations.
21. Restricted Areas
Guests must not enter staff-only, service, kitchen, maintenance, storage, electrical, operational, or other restricted areas unless specifically authorized.
22. Outside Vendors
Outside decorators, caterers, entertainers, photographers, event planners, technicians, or other vendors may require prior approval.
All approved vendors must comply with Resort security, safety, operational, and access requirements.
Guests may be responsible for damage or loss caused by vendors associated with their booking or event.
23. Parties & Gatherings
Private parties, gatherings, celebrations, or other activities inside guest rooms or Resort premises must comply with Resort policies.
Management may restrict or stop any gathering that:
- Creates excessive noise
- Disturbs other guests
- Exceeds permitted occupancy
- Creates a safety risk
- Damages property
- Violates applicable laws or Resort rules
24. Damage & Additional Charges
Guests may be charged for:
- Damage to rooms or Resort property
- Missing items
- Excessive cleaning requirements
- Stains or damage to linen/furnishings
- Unauthorized removal of property
- Damage caused by guests or their visitors
- Damage caused during events or functions
Any applicable charge will be communicated to the guest where reasonably possible.
25. Lost & Found
Items found on Resort premises will be handled according to the Resort’s Lost & Found procedures.
Guests who lose an item should report it to reception as soon as possible.
The Resort may request reasonable information to verify ownership before returning a found item.
26. CCTV & Security
For the safety and security of guests, employees, and property, CCTV surveillance may operate in selected public/common areas.
Guests may be required to cooperate with reasonable security checks and procedures.
27. Prohibited Items & Activities
The following are prohibited on Resort premises, subject to applicable law and Resort policy:
- Illegal drugs or prohibited substances
- Explosive or hazardous materials
- Weapons or other prohibited items
- Activities that create a serious safety risk
- Unauthorized commercial activities
- Any unlawful activity
Management may contact the appropriate authorities where legally required.
28. Internet & Wi-Fi
Where Wi-Fi or internet access is provided, it is intended for lawful and reasonable use.
Guests must not use Resort internet services for unlawful activities, unauthorized access, fraud, harassment, distribution of malicious software, or other prohibited activities.
The Resort does not guarantee uninterrupted internet availability.
29. Facility Availability
Resort facilities may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Maintenance
- Cleaning
- Weather
- Safety concerns
- Private events
- Technical issues
- Operational requirements
- Circumstances beyond the Resort’s reasonable control
The Resort will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant closures where practicable.
30. Right to Refuse or Terminate Stay
The Resort reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a guest’s stay where permitted by applicable law, including circumstances involving:
- Serious rule violations
- Threatening or abusive behaviour
- Illegal activities
- Damage to property
- Serious disturbance
- Safety concerns
- Misrepresentation of booking or guest information
Where a stay is terminated due to a guest’s violation of Resort rules, any refund will be determined according to the applicable booking terms and circumstances.
31. Liability
Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of persons under their supervision while using Resort facilities.
The Resort will take reasonable measures to maintain safe premises and facilities but cannot be responsible for circumstances arising from a guest’s negligence, misuse of facilities, failure to follow instructions, or violation of Resort rules, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
32. Compliance With Law
All guests must comply with applicable laws, government regulations, public safety requirements, and Resort policies during their stay.
Nothing in these rules is intended to limit any rights or protections available to guests under applicable law.
33. Changes to Guest Rules
Aabuu Babuu Resort & Banquet may modify these rules from time to time for safety, security, operational, legal, or guest-experience reasons.
Updated rules may be communicated through the Resort website, reception, guest information materials, signage, or other appropriate means.
Guest Acknowledgement
By staying at or using the facilities of Aabuu Babuu Resort & Banquet, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Guest Rules & Regulations, together with the Resort’s Terms & Conditions, Cancellation & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Swimming Pool Rules, and other applicable policies.
