Swimming Pool Rules & Regulations
The swimming pool at Aabuu Babuu Resort & Banquet is provided for the enjoyment, recreation, and relaxation of our guests. For everyone’s safety and comfort, all guests using the swimming pool must comply with the following rules.
1. General Rules
- Swimming pool use is permitted only during the officially designated pool hours.
- The Resort reserves the right to restrict or suspend pool access due to weather, maintenance, cleaning, private events, or safety concerns.
- Guests use the swimming pool and surrounding area at their own risk.
- Children must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times.
- Guests who are unable to swim should remain in designated shallow areas and use appropriate flotation aids where permitted.
- Pool staff or Resort management may ask any guest to leave the pool area for safety or rule violations.
2. Health & Hygiene
- Guests are requested to shower before entering the swimming pool.
- Appropriate swimwear must be worn while using the pool.
- Guests with open wounds, infectious skin conditions, or illnesses that may pose a risk to others should not enter the pool.
- Spitting, urinating, or otherwise contaminating the pool is strictly prohibited.
- Food and beverages should not be consumed in or immediately adjacent to the pool unless specifically permitted by the Resort.
- Glass bottles, glass containers, and other breakable items are strictly prohibited in the pool area.
3. Safety Rules
- No running, pushing, fighting, or rough play is permitted around the pool.
- Diving is permitted only in areas specifically designated for diving. Where diving is not permitted, guests must enter the pool feet-first.
- Jumping or diving from unauthorized areas, furniture, walls, or other structures is prohibited.
- Guests must follow instructions given by lifeguards, pool attendants, or Resort management.
- Pool equipment, safety equipment, and other facilities must not be misused or removed from the pool area.
- Guests should immediately report any accident, injury, unsafe condition, or damaged equipment to Resort staff.
- In the event of an emergency, guests must follow instructions from Resort staff and evacuate the pool area when directed.
4. Children
- Children must be accompanied and continuously supervised by a responsible adult.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that children follow all pool rules.
- Children who cannot swim should use appropriate flotation devices where permitted.
- Parents/guardians should not leave children unattended in or around the swimming pool for any reason.
5. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings while using the pool and surrounding areas.
Aabuu Babuu Resort & Banquet is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings left unattended in the pool area.
Guests are advised not to bring valuable items into the pool area.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Running around the pool
- Pushing or rough play
- Diving in non-diving areas
- Glass containers
- Smoking in prohibited areas
- Consumption of intoxicating substances in violation of Resort policy or applicable law
- Fighting or disruptive behavior
- Use of inappropriate or unsafe pool equipment
- Any activity that may endanger other guests
7. Pool Attire
Guests must wear suitable swimming attire while using the swimming pool.
Regular clothing, footwear, or materials that may damage pool equipment or affect water quality may not be permitted.
8. Pool Closure
The swimming pool may be temporarily closed without prior notice due to:
- Bad weather or lightning
- Maintenance or cleaning
- Water-quality concerns
- Technical problems
- Emergencies
- Private functions or Resort events
- Any other safety-related reason
The decision of Resort management regarding pool closure shall be final.
9. Liability & Safety
Guests are expected to use the swimming pool responsibly and follow all safety instructions.
Aabuu Babuu Resort & Banquet shall not be responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss resulting from a guest’s failure to follow pool rules, misuse of facilities, negligence, or failure to exercise reasonable care, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
10. Right to Refuse Pool Access
Management reserves the right to deny or withdraw swimming pool access from any guest who:
- Violates these rules
- Behaves in a manner that may endanger others
- Damages Resort property
- Disobeys safety instructions
- Creates a disturbance
- Uses the facility in an unsafe or inappropriate manner
No refund or compensation will necessarily be provided where access is withdrawn due to violation of these rules.
Guest Acknowledgement
By entering or using the swimming pool facilities at Aabuu Babuu Resort & Banquet, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Swimming Pool Rules & Regulations.
Management reserves the right to modify these rules when necessary for safety, operational, or regulatory reasons.
